ARTIST STATEMENT

As a choreographer, I strive to create work that brings the audience into an intimate moment in time. Audiences do not simply watch my work, but they are allowed to live and breathe within the world of my work. My passion for theatre and film aids me in my choreography, as I create character and narrative driven art. I am intensely passionate about creating dances that tell strong, emotional stories.

As a performer, I am always looking to step into new shoes. The relationships that I have onstage with my fellow performers, as well as with the audience are the driving force of my creative output.

I am a narratively driven artist. I want people to see themselves in my work. I see my work as love letters to the parts of us we know and the parts of us that have yet to be discovered.
